WHO WE ARE

Salt Monster Theatre Co. is a scrappy, sweat-and-sawdust company hellbent on shaking up the American stage with weird, original work. Founded in 2024, we fuse puppetry, movement, and raw performance to build strange worlds by hand. We make new plays that crawl out of the margins—funny, feral, and stitched from the strange—bending time, structure, and sense—and we like it that way. We’re here for the beautiful, the broken, and the bizarre.

Mission Statement:

To nurture and amplify the voices of emerging playwrights and performers by producing original texts that push the boundaries of the American stage. We are dedicated to fostering artistic growth through providing a collaborative environment and innovative workshops in scriptwriting and acting that fuses stage combat, clowning, puppetry, and movement.
